Long time no post, so here goes.  Just got back from AZ and I am back in the swing of school, which is to say that I am again bored for roughly 8 hours a day excluding the occasional entertaining coffee break.  I am still trying to write a novel mostly because I have the time, inclination and belief that writing one with guarantee money, the right to be my own boss, and "B" level celebrity status.

Wedding planning continues unabated and I am anxious to get this ball rolling.  It is about 160 days away but I wish it were sooner.  Honeymoon plans are going along swimmingly and it looks like Italy is in the cards.  Anyone who has been to Rome, Venice, or Cinque Terra is welcome to offer suggestions about what to see and do.  Also, if you have pictures of me that you think would be good in a wedding slide show let me know so that I can have a look and include them.

Recommendations:

Film:  Munich, Chronicles of Narnia, Syriana,  Blade Runner(an oldie but goodie)

Books: See No Evil by Robert Baer

CDs: Anything by Queen

The end of the week is here.  It figures to be a busy weekend, but a busy weekend seems to be more relaxing than a hectic workweek.  Christmas is approaching rapidly and the advent season is already here.  I must say that this is the first year in a while that I have considered the meaning of advent and that is thanks to Prof. Reppmann and his Advent "party".  I am also set to turn 26 in a little more than a week.  Hopefully Saturday will be a good time celebrating and Sunday will be a fitting day of relaxation after 26 years of living.  On the whole, things are going quite well.  I am anxious for job hunt season to start up again and am nervous and excited for it...again.  Keep me in your prayers subscribers as I polish the resume and get ready to once again assault the job world.  Hope all is well with you friends.

Long time no chat so heres a whirlwind update.  Still engaged, still working, still lifting (dude, I'm huge), and I just started my first novel.  I found out that I missed NaNoWriMo.  I'm pretty disappointed since I found out on Dec.2 and NaNoWriMo runs from Nov.1-30.  On the whole things are going quite well.  Christmas shopping is 1/2 done and the rest should be easy.  I'm reading some killer books and got even more on the docket.  I haven't bought CDs lately but am revisiting old favorites.

Read/Reading:  Lake Wobegon Days, Freakonomics, Rabbitt,Run,

Listening to:  Comply by The Pietasters, Greatest Hits by David Allan Coe, Hot by Squirrel Nut Zippers,  Prairie Home Companion on NPR.

Wow!  It has been a long time since my last entry, but honestly there just hasn't been much to say.  I am still working every day and waiting patiently to get married.  I have a job interview tommorow that might result in a change of venue job wise, but no guarantee.  I've been getting a lot of reading done and I totally recommend the book listed below.  I will try to be a little more on the ball with the postings.

Almost done with another week of school.  Permanent subbing is going okay, somedays are better than others and some departments plan for us better than others.  On the whole things are moving along nicely.  Closer to getting married than I was during the last post.  Still not finding enough time to jog, but I am reading a lot and my "endgame" has improved slightly.  On another note, I have been reading a lot about Bobby Fischer and it is a bit depressing.  What makes one of the most gifted people of the 20th century completly fall of the deep end?  Bad parenting?  Bad schooling?  Communists sabotaging "precious bodily fluids" through drinking water flouridation?  I'm not sure, but I am gunning to find out.  Later gang.
